This book is perfect for every home owner but especially for those just starting out. I wish I had this when we first purchased our home. 

In the first few years we did so many updates to the home like the furnace, water pump, water filtration, hot water heater and more.  In September our water pump went and we knew we had replaced it when we moved in but it would have been nice to be able to check back, see what the issue was and have all the information we needed. Since we didn't my husband had to pull the pump up with my assistance (gross nasty job) to get the measurements so we could go pick one up.  It only took 2 days but it was annoying nonetheless. 

I recommend this book to every homeowner to keep track of everything in one spot. There is even pockets for you to include receipts and manuals so you never lose them.  A-M and N-Z so you don't have to search through everything.
