Back To School Lunch Never Looked This Cool

Oh...I am so heartbroken as I write this post. You can see my heartache video. I really miss my kids when they are in school.  BUT...we woke, smiled, chatted and got out the door without any issues this morning. BTW this never happens. Goddess needs an hour to wake and we are usually yelling in the morning by the time she actually gets out of bed.

When she woke and got dressed she came out and helped me put her lunch together in her new lunchbox which I worked on yesterday. She loves it! It looked kind of like her dad's but since I didn't take a before photo of her's I have included his so you can see it.

You wouldn't know it from this photo, but she loves her lunchbox. Her backpack weighed about 18 pounds.

Inside the lunchbox we are using the coolest Rubbermaid LunchBlox.

Rubbermaid's LunchBlox® is a must-have this fall to make things easier when it comes to getting school lunches packed.  LunchBlox offers an easy solution for meals on-the-go as these containers stack and snap to each other to stay organized and maximize space.  Containers also snap to the Blue Ice panel to keep food items fresh and are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe and all kits are 100% BPA free.  Options include sandwich kit (MSRP $9.99), salad kit (MSRP $10.99), entrée kit (MSRP $16.99) and individual containers (MSRP $3.00 - $6.99).

These are so so cool because they come with their own ice pack that actually attaches to it. This is totally cool and in fact, I will be bringing my snack for work in one today.

Goddess lunch has always been fairly easy. She likes yogurt, some sort of veggie, fruit or both if we have it and a snack with a water bottle.

Today she asked for carrots, dressing, sunflower seeds and cashews. Easy peasy. See how each pieces sits. They actually fit into grooves on the larger pieces keeping everything very contained.

Here is the Lunch Blox or Sandwich Kit. See that blue piece? That is the ice pack! Interestingly enough right before these came in the mail to review. I had already purchased two of these kits. I just knew it would change how Goddess and my lunch would end up every day (Handsome buys lunch).

This is the Lunch Blox Entree Kit! I love this because I think I will use it more than any other. I love taking a large salad or left overs for lunch. This is perfect for me.

The last one is the Kids Lunch Kit! Perfect!

Goddess and I love all the colors! She used to want bread or a roll along with her yogurt and snack but always complained it ended up wet, cold or soggy. I think this is going to make all the difference.

Rubbermaid isn't just making the most colorful lunch kits but check out these new items
