In this poignant, touching
book, author Vicki Reece shares heartwarming, original photos and her favorite
words of inspiration about the joy, honor, and privilege of being a mom.
Vicki has been collecting,
curating, and crafting quotes for as long as she can remember and also helps
moms share their experiences through Joy of Mom, a website community dedicated
to connecting and empowering women.
This book is the culmination of
Vicki’s lifelong dream and journey. As she says, “All their firsts not only
take our breath away, they leave our hearts right there with them.”
Whether given on Mother’s Day,
a birthday, or any day, The Joy of Mom is a gift that the most
important woman in your life will treasure forever.
About the Author: Vicki
Reece is the founder of joyofmom.com, a website designed to connect women all
over the world with inspirational, genuine stories and advice. Vicki has been
featured on The View, CNN, Fox & Friends, spotlighted in
network interviews on ABC, NBC, CBS, WGN, CLTV, and showcased in articles in
more than a hundred newspapers and seventy-five magazines including Vanity
Fair and The Wall Street Journal.
The mom of three children and three furry babies, Vicki is a
former ad executive who left it all behind to make positive multimedia products
for children and families. When her children were small, Vicki became upset by
the violent and negative toys and messages marketed to children.
Not one to sit on the sidelines, she began producing
children’s music, videos, and games that were positive and sent love-filled
messages. Her first children’s computer software game, Jack’s House, was warmly
received and was followed by Jack’s Attic.
Today, Vicki’s inspirational words reach and touch millions
of moms and women around the world daily on Joy of Mom—the culmination of
Vicki’s lifelong dream and journey.
