Addie B Strong Is One Strong Chick

I love books! There is no doubt about that. Visit my home and you will see more books than the school library and that is without holding onto every single book I have ever had. I wish I could have a room of books. They make me feel good just to have them around. While my love has yet to spread over to the kids yet, I am still holding out hope and spend a lot of time reading to them still. Handsome is a very good reader but has trouble understanding everything he reads and Goddess, understands everything, yet still struggles.

We received Addie B. Strong by Alyson Flippo & Katheleen Murphy Willer and feel in love!'

Goddess loved reading this. She isn't a book lover just yet but found this book easy to read and she loved the whimsical artwork.

Addie wants all the things her friends have but her mother has a loving message about being yourself and loving who you are. Addie realizes that it is not things that make her amazing but everything she holds inside herself.

The book can be purchased at Amazon.

Disclaimer: We received a complimentary copy of this book for our honest opinion.

  1. Addie B Strong sounds like a book that shows children that they should not compare themselves with others. From a Christian standpoint, we are loved by God and He even calls us His beloved. We are highly valued by God and don't need to feel badly because we don't have what our friends have.
