John Landis, the critically acclaimed writer and director of “An American Werewolf in London” visited Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 23 on Friday, September 20, 2013 to enjoy the elaborate haunted house that brought his classic horror film to life. Universal’s Entertainment team partnered with Landis to recreate some of the film’s iconic scenes – from the attack on the English moors to the hospital nightmares to witnessing the bone-crunching transformation of David from human to bloodthirsty werewolf. Halloween Horror Nights 23 opens tonight and features eight, all-new, disturbingly real haunted houses, horrifying street experiences filled with hundreds of “scareactors” and outrageous live shows– featuring some of the most terrifying and highly-recognizable names in entertainment and pop culture. Recently named the nation’s best Halloween event for the sixth consecutive year, Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights takes place select nights until Nov. 2.
