Holiday Survival Kit/Post Holiday Survival Kit Giveaway

Getting ready for the holidays mean lots of cleaning. We start a week before and hit every room from top to bottom and than at the end of it all, we have to do it all again. Usually we do it after the tree goes out. An early Spring clean so to speak before the actual Spring cleaning.

I would like to thank Earth Friendly Products for hosting this wonderful early mid winter, after holiday giveaway. Haven't heard of Earth Friendly Products yet? Well, you are in for a surprise. They have all the products you need to get your home clean, without all the harsh, dangerous chemicals.

Holiday prepping goes beyond cooking and decorating. It also means tiding up your home and getting it ready for house guests! Then after all is said and done, there is post holiday cleaning! The Holiday Survival Kit/Post Holiday Survival Kit contains products that are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

Earth Friendly Products is the award-winning green company that manufactures all natural home products that will not only keep your home looking spotless and smelling fresh for the holidays, but will also keep the toxic chemical ingredients that are found in most commercial cleaning products out of the house and away from your loved ones.

Survival Kit includes:

·         Uni-Fresh Air Freshener: A nontoxic, concentrated air freshener that helps eliminate odors and contains 100% natural ingredients made from essential oils.  Cinnamon and vanilla scents add the perfect aromas to keep every room of your home fresh and inviting throughout the holiday season.

·         Silver Polish: This plant-derived formula is free of formaldehyde, phosphates and chlorine.  It’s biodegradable, septic safe, greywater safe and has the lowest PH level of silver polishes on the market, so you can keep your flatware looking shiny and new with the safest and most gentle ingredients available.

·         Carpet Shampoo:  Face it - adults and kids alike are going to spill before the presents have even been opened.  With bergamot and sage, Earth Friendly brings the first-ever replenishable, ecologically sound rug cleaner, for use in hot or cold-water machines, created from an array of pure, natural ingredients and entirely free of phosphates, chlorine, petrochemicals or toxins.

·         Dishmate Pear or Almond:  Made with coconut oil based surfactants, salt and essential oils, this is a powerful hand dish washing product that is naturally hard on grease and not your skin.  Not to mention, the pear and almond scents will keep the smell of the holidays in your kitchen long after you’re done cooking.

  7. A few years ago, our ceiling (in the kitchen!) started leaking 24-36 hours before we were expecting my father and his family for the first holiday celebration in our new (to us) house. Due to access issues, we ended up cutting a hole in the ceiling to prevent it from falling and to identify the leak. Lots of towels and the shop vac were employed to clean up wet and dry insulation and ceiling.

  12. Find the hardest seat to get out from at the table and then you dont have to clean. Otherwise, lots of wipes, trash bags and soap. Vinegar also works great but then I start craving fries.

  24. I know this is gross, but minutes before my family arrived for Christmas last year, my cat decided to throw up on the floor! Yuck! It was a tag team effort. My daughter grabbed the paper towels, my hubs grabbed the garbage can, and I grabbed the carpet cleaner. And my son sat back and gagged! LOL
