Fairytale Hair Care For A Lice Free School Year

New Backpacks! New Lunch Boxes! New lice letters!

Every September it happens, we get the letter from school stating something to the effect of lice being found on a classmate and we should all check the kids, and that the nurse will be performing checks in the school.

The letter goes on to say that you should do periodic checks, the tools recommended to do the check and what to do if you find lice. Every year, I cringe praying the kid won't be in my kid's class.

We have been lucky so far but luck does eventually run out. We are taking precautions and using Fairytale Hair Care products to prevent and repel lice from even wanting to infest my kid's head! Hopefully! I don't know what I would do if I found lice. I cringe at the thought and was thrilled when I opened a box containing:
  • Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Shampoo
  • Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Conditioner
  • Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Leave in Conditioning Spray
  • Fairy Tales Hair Care Rosemary Repel Gel

We started using the products three days before school and have been using them for the past two weeks and love the smell!

The products are safe to use daily and contain Rosemary and citronella oils both proven to effectively and safely repel lice without harsh, unsafe chemicals.

Fairy Tales Hair Care has a Facts of Lice App for iPhone where you can see real time alerts of outbreaks in your area. If you get an alert, you know it is time to increase your prevention efforts.

How to prevent lice:

-Teach children to never share hats, combs, pillows or helmets, which can transmit live lice, (while most lice are spread through head to head contact, lice can also survive off the human head for 24-36 hours.)

-Keep long hair up in a braid or pony tail to minimize contact with infected surfaces (Goddess spends the first two months in braids.)

-Do not wash hair every day. Lice attach more easily to squeaky clean hair (this is good since we wash hair every 3rd night.
