Pringles Multigrain and Tyler Florence- U Taste, We Donate

Who doesn't like chips?
Who doesn't want to have a healthier chip?
Who doesn't want to support childhood hunger?

"U Taste. We Donate."  Initiated by Pringles Multigrain and supported by celebrity chef, Tyler Florence, the campaign seeks to aid Share Our Strength with its mission to end childhood hunger in America.  For the 17 million children facing hunger in America, every dollar counts.

Here's how it works.  Enter the UPC code from any Pringles Multigrain product at PringlesMultigrain.com, and Pringles will donate $1 to Share Our Strength through June 30, 2010.  You can choose from any of the three New Pringles Multigrain flavors including, Truly Original, Cheesy Cheddar, and Creamy Ranch.

As a Mom Central Reviewer I received a really cool tote bag, a container of each of the new flavors, a recipe booklet which included a recipe to go with each flavor chip and the coolest USB drive I have ever seen.

I am happy to report that the reason the chips are absent from the picture is because from the moment the chips arrived on Saturday, they are all gone!  The box came. I opened it and my husband and kids swarmed around me telling me they would tell me what they thought.

The consensus:  They loved the Truly Original claiming, "less grease and just as tasty if not more."
My kids and the man, the devoured half of the original can and half of the Cheesy Cheddar which was the kids favorite. Sunday, the can tops were popped again and the Cheesy Cheddar and original were finished off.  Thinking I would at least get more than one chip from each can,  I opened the Creamy Ranch today and found about 10 chips left. Oh well, 10 chips is better than nothing.

The chips taste great, appear to have less grease. This was the one thing I was really curious about. Did my hand come out of the canister feeling greasy. The answer; no. You can see the multigrain in each chip. If your kids are going to eat chips, why not multigrain?

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Pringles Multigrain and received a tote bag with samples to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central also sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
