Please Take My Side Bar Poll

Last week I visited my in-laws house.

While there my niece, who I absolutely adore walked in with all the necessities of a 13 year old girl.

• A hair straightener
  
• A cell phone
• And Glamour Magazine

The necessity part is of course an assumption on my part but I must admit I was a bit shocked.

Maybe it is because Miley is on the cover, but should Miley be on the cover of Glamour Magazine if her fans are 8-14 year olds?

Don't get me wrong, I love Glamour and have a subscription myself which is why it didn't sit well with me.

Now, I know it's been *hand over mouth* years since I was 13 but.....does anyone under the consensual age need to know any of the bullet points above?
